Booking Procedure

Applications for the hire of the RYA Training fleet should be made on the below booking form and then returned to the address noted on it. It is important that bookings should be made giving as much advanced notice as possible. A quick e-mail or phone call to establish availability is advisable.

Hiring Fees Per Fleet

The hire charges for 2007 inc VAT are:

Toppers = 6 Boats £70 per day, £125 per weekend or £350 per week.
Optimists = 6 Boats £70 per day, £125 per weekend or £350 per week.

ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
Cheques should be made payable to the RYA.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER TO REPORT ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR BREAKAGES, WHETHER ON COLLECTION OR AFTER USE. ALL LOSSES & DAMAGES WILL HAVE TO BE MADE GOOD DURING PERIOD OF HIRE WHERE POSSIBLE OR PAID FOR AT A LATER DATE ONCE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE.

IT IS IMPORTANT ALL DAMAGES, BREAKAGES ETC., ARE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY SO NOT TO DISAPPOINT SUBSEQUENT HIRERS.

We have had a lot of damage and missing items which we are replacing but unless damage and missing items are declared at the earliest opportunity then we will expect the hirer to pay to bring the fleet back to a servicable condition.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to collect and return the boats to their respective homeports, where they will be checked in and out. Collection points will be:

Birmingham and Sparkhill Sailing Club

Park Road

Erdington

Birmingham B23 7SL.

or boats will not be released for use*
